Colour time Canvas Print

Every image I create has a story and meaning behind it.
Looking for autumn colours I pass this place most days, the colours have been magnificent but the lighting was poor for three days in a row, very over cast and raining. Knowing and being able to see an image before it is there just one of my skills.
The fourth day brought rewards although I did wait in the same place for two or more hours’s hoping for the right light. This I believe is the difference between a snap and a photograph.
Clouds were moving fast above yet no breeze at ground level, the sun kept busting through in spurts as the clouds moved eastward. It was just a matter of time and patience and a little luck. The right moment lasted for less than a minute the clouds broke and the sun highlighted the trees.
Was it worth the effort and wait?
